The Supreme Inland Vessel is a targeted design for stern tubes of inland vessels. This reliable sealing solution can be applied to FPP systems and is available in split type. Complemented with a broad range of options, the seal can be fully customized to your specific needs.

HOW IT WORKS

The Supreme Inland Vessel consist of a forward seal (LDF) and an aft seal (LDA). The aft seal prevents water ingress to the stern tube and oil leakage to the outside environment. The forward seal prevents oil leakage from the stern tube to your engine room. The seal is also available as split version. This means that it is not necessary to pull the shaft when in dry dock. The Supreme Inland Vessel is available for shaft diameters from 70 to 248 millimetres.

MATERIALS

The Supreme Inland Vessel consists of high-quality iron housing parts, a stainless steel liner, one oil-repellent and two water-repellent rubber (NBR) lip seals.

SERVICE KIT

Is your vessel equipped with a Supreme Seal? Our service kits are essential to ensure optimal seal performance. Over time, seals can become worn or damaged, leading to leaks and other issues. Our service kit consists of the wearable 'soft' parts of the seal. Each seal has its own designated and unique service kit. It always consists of lip seals, springs, gaskets, o-rings and safety wire.
