ABOUT THE LIQUIDYNE®

Our Liquidyne pump seals are the alternative to stuffing box seals and mechanical seals. The system has a predictable lifespan due to its condition monitoring function. Additionally, the seal is environmentally friendly thanks to the water-lubricated system, which saves energy by reducing friction on the shaft.

The water-lubricated Liquidyne was originally developed in 1983 for dredge pumps operating under harsh conditions with high sand content and vibrations. Due to its robust design, the Liquidyne can withstand above-average axial and radial play. Additionally, the water-lubricated system eliminates the need for oil or grease, which could otherwise end up in the environment.

Today, the Liquidyne is successfully applied in dredge pumps, industrial pumps, cooling water pumps, sumps, and locks. The configuration of the Liquidyne is determined based on the type of pump, pH value, temperature, size of abrasive particles, and whether external flushing is necessary.
