Maintenance Pumps & Valves 2026
THANK YOU
Two great days at Antwerp Expo — booth 1070 was busy from the moment the doors opened.
The Maintenance and Pumps & Valves duo-event brought together maintenance engineers, plant managers, and process specialists from across the Belgian and broader European industrial landscape. The combination of both shows under one roof made for a particularly focused audience: people with real assets to maintain and a clear interest in solutions that work in practice, not just on paper.
Thank you to everyone who found their way to booth 1070. The conversations were candid and constructive, exactly what makes these events worth attending.
WHAT STOOD OUT IN ANTWERP
Antwerp's process industry audience brought a different perspective than the maintenance crowds in Dortmund or Gorinchem. The questions were more application-specific, reflecting the demanding conditions found in process industry and manufacturing plants. Four themes shaped our conversations at booth 1070:
Process industry applications push seals harder than most aggressive media, pressure fluctuations, and strict leakage standards all feature. Visitors were interested in how the Liquidyne® holds up in these conditions and what sets it apart from conventional mechanical seals in demanding process environments.
Having Maintenance and Pumps & Valves running together attracted a broader range of decision-makers than either show would alone. We spoke with both the people who specify sealing solutions and the people who live with them day-to-day a combination that makes for richer, more grounded conversations.
Across all industries represented at the show, unplanned downtime was the number one concern. Visitors were less interested in seal technology for its own sake and more focused on what it means for their maintenance intervals and production continuity a framing that suits the Liquidyne® case well.
Antwerp's position at the heart of the European petrochemical corridor made for an internationally mixed crowd. Conversations went beyond Belgium, reflecting the breadth of industries and geographies that Maintenance Antwerp draws in and confirming the value of being present in this particular event.

ABOUT THE LIQUIDYNE®
The Liquidyne® is a water-lubricated sealing system for industrial pumps and rotating equipment a proven alternative to stuffing box seals and mechanical seals in applications where reliability and low maintenance effort matter most. Its oil-free design reduces energy consumption through lower shaft friction and removes any risk of lubricant contamination in or around the process.
Built originally for the extreme demands of dredge pumps in 1983, the Liquidyne® has since been adapted for a wide range of industrial applications. A built-in condition monitoring function gives maintenance teams a clear indication of seal status, supporting the shift from reactive repairs to planned interventions and making seal replacement a scheduled event rather than an emergency.
