SUPREME® OIL COLLECTOR RING
The Supreme Oil Collector Ring (OCR) offers extra safety against (normal) consumption in the engine room. The OCR prevents oil droplets or mist from the stern tube and the forward seal from entering the engine room.

For safety reasons, the Port State Control no longer accepts this type of pollution in the engine room. With the OCR, the engine room remains clean and safe.
HOW IT WORKS
Leakage of the forward seal may occur if the lip seals are damaged or worn down. The OCR collects the (normal) consumption of the forward seal and discharges it to a tank. This tank can be inspected at any time to check the condition of the forward seal. The OCR applies to all (both new-build and delivered) Supreme seals.
