HOW IT WORKS
The Supreme Ventus® DualFlow system efficiently and smoothly handles leakage. It consists of three main parts: the Air Control Unit, the Thruster Box, and two Bottom Tanks.
- The Air Control Unit, located in the engine room, provides the necessary air supply.
- The Thruster Box acts as an air connection point inside the thruster.
- The Bottom Tanks collect and process the leakage.
Every 30 minutes, a draining cycle starts. First, the valve between the two tanks closes, and the second tank is pressurized. This pressure pushes the leakage through a drain line into the drain tank inside the Air Control Unit. When the drain tank is full, the system automatically starts an emptying cycle. During this cycle, the drain tank is pressurized, a pneumatic valve opens, and the leakage is discharged into the ship’s dirty oil tank.

MATERIALS
The Supreme Ventus® DualFlow system is made with durable pneumatic components and pressure sensors. To ensure reliability and make assembly, installation, and maintenance easier, it uses well-known components from the Ventus MK2017 model. In addition, a third pressure sensor has been added to help detect issues in the Thruster Box more effectively.
