THANK YOU FOR CELEBRATING 170 YEARS WITH US AT SMM 2026

What a week it was at SMM 2026 in Hamburg! This year’s exhibition was a special one for Lagersmit as we celebrated 170 years of engineering confidence and peace of mind together with our customers, partners, and visitors.
 
Throughout the exhibition, we showcased our latest sealing innovations, designed to make maritime operations smarter, more sustainable, and easier to maintain. Our booth was filled with inspiring conversations, technical discussions, and opportunities to connect with the people behind our solutions.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us, shared their challenges and ideas, and took the time to discover how we can shape the future of sealing together.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE EXHIBITION

SMM 2026 brought together the maritime community in Hamburg, and we were proud to be part of it. From technical discussions and product demonstrations to celebrating our 170-year journey, our time at the exhibition was made memorable by the people we met along the way.

INTRODUCING THE SUPREME VENTUS® DUALFLOW

  • A highlight at our booth was the new exhibition model the Supreme Ventus® DualFlow, our sealing solution for deep-set thruster applications.

 

CELEBRATING 170 YEARS OF LAGERSMIT

  • Our 170th anniversary was a big part of the SMM experience. Visitors tested their Lagersmit knowledge in our anniversary quiz for a change to win an exclusive Lagersmit watch or compass.

 

SUCCESSFUL ATTENDANCE

  • We were pleased to welcome many customers at the exhibition, reconnecting with longtime partners, meeting new prospects, and showcasing our latest products.
  • We also hosted an agent dinner, providing an opportunity to catch up, strengthen our relationships and exchange updates.

SUPREME® SEALING SOLUTIONS

The Supreme® is Lagersmit's maritime sealing solution for propulsion systems — covering stern tubes, thrusters, rudder stocks, bulkheads, and gearboxes. Built for continuous operation in corrosive, high-pressure environments far from shore, the range spans from the Supreme® Standard for conventional oil-lubricated systems to the Supreme Ventus®, which enables air-type sealing and directly supports zero-emission vessel requirements.

All Supreme® seals are designed with long service intervals, minimal maintenance, and both newbuild and retrofit applications in mind.
