For Lagersmit, the Donsö Shipping Meet 2025 was all about meaningful encounters and inspiring conversations. Our colleagues Mark Reinders (Account Manager Sweden), Pepijn van Dam (Account Manager Norway), and Damien Taylor (OE Sales Engineer UK & Scandinavia) looks back on an event filled with valuable interactions with customers, partners, and new contacts.

The speed meetings with Swedish shipowners provided an excellent opportunity to connect with new decision-makers and strengthen existing relationships. These sessions offered valuable insights into the challenges within the maritime sector while allowing us to demonstrate how our SUPREME shaft seals contribute to reliability and continuity at sea.

In more in-depth one-on-one discussions, we highlighted how our flexibility and service-oriented approach give customers the confidence that their specific needs will always be met. And during more informal moments, from coffee breaks to the Banquet, we focused on deepening relationships and making sure our promise of Peace of Mind resonated in every interaction.

DSM was also the perfect moment to catch up with our long-term OEM partners, exchange views on the latest market developments, and discuss the evolving needs within the tanker segment. These conversations help us ensure our product portfolio remains future-proof and aligned with industry standards.

Of course, DSM also had its lighter side. As always, our visitors enjoyed traditional Dutch stroopwafels and fun giveaways small but memorable touches that bring a smile and a little taste of Dutch hospitality.
